access/ABILITY is a highly engaging and interactive exhibit promoting disability awareness. It celebrates the different capabilities in all of us, dispelling myths and encouraging open questioning and curiosity. Organized around the things we all do every day - go places, communicate, think about things, have fun - the exhibit challenges our motor skills, and ways of thinking, while encouraging us to try doing things differently.
Kids can learn phrases in American Sign Language, type their names in Braille, try a hand-pedaled bike, and more at this interactive exhibit about disability awareness. -- June Wuff, Globe Staff
