Family Explorers: Ocean Motion

Learn about the world of water alongside your young child. Can you float like a crab? Swim like a fish? Leap like a whale? Or float like a jelly? Family Explorers classes introduce your child to the wonders of the aquatic world while focusing on their developing motor and language skills and encouraging the development of early science skills such as observation and exploration. Classes run for one hour and include free play, circle time with songs, stories and activities, art projects and games. There is a fee of $50.00 for members and $95.00 for non-members for each series of four classes. Adults are included in the cost of each child. Aquarium admission is included in the cost for non-members as classes end in the Aquarium. A $2 service fee will be added to each ticket. Sign up for three or more series at one time (12 classes or more) and receive a $5.00 credit per session. Classes are held in the Aquarium's Ocean Center, which is across the plaza from the main Aquarium building.
