The nonprofit organization, Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network (BCAN) continues its regional patient forums "Understanding Bladder Cancer," an educational program directed at patients, family members, and caregivers, in Boston on October 18. The forum will be held at the Joseph B. Martin Conference Center at Harvard Medical School. This half-day event will begin at 9:30 am and will be presented by a multi-institutional panel of experts including Dr. Kevin Loughlin (Harvard Medical School) serving as our faculty chair, Dr. David Wang (Boston University Medical School), Dr. John Feldman (South Shore Hospital), Dr. Shahin Tabatabei (Massachusetts General Hospital), Dr. Jerome Richie (Brigham and Women's Hospital), Donna Loehner, RN (Lahey Clinic), and Marsha Moses, PhD (Harvard Medical School). The forum will include lunch and an interactive discussion on bladder cancer from the patient's perspective facilitated by bladder cancer survivor Linda Martin.
