New England Aquarium

Take a trip to exotic waters and experience more than 70 exhibits featuring aquatic animals from around the world. Greet three different species of penguins upon your entrance, then wind your way around the four-story Giant Ocean Tank, home to a huge Caribbean coral reef. Out back, the New Balance Foundation Marine Mammal Center is a naturally lit, open-air pavilion that gives visitors a front-row seat to see northern fur seals in action. The brand-new exhibit gives these sleek animals plenty of room to gallop, swim and lounge. Thanks to the tiered seating, hundreds of visitors can get a good view of all these behaviors.
