The concession stand is very poorly laid out, requiring the workers to criss cross throught the kiosk for basic items like soda and popcorn. This leads to long lines that block foot traffic. The movie we saw was oversold by 5-6 seats, my sister and daughter sat on the steps because there were no seats left, we didn't complain because we had driven over 1/2 hr to get there. No usher ever ventured into the theater. I would drive quite far to avoid this theater, especially on a busy weekend, it is the worst run multiplex I have ever experienced. STAY AWAY!!! I surely will

I would agree that the theater has some shortcomings like parking and lobby and concession layout but personally, I like the comfy seats and layout of the movie theaters. Most seats are great and I love the front row with railings that are at the perfect distance to the screen. I went to the Showcase in Woburn and there was no comparison

We find the great pricing and friendliness of Gloucester Cinema plus first run movies a plus. Cinema Salem is another small and great venue and a great IMAX experience is Jordan’s without all the hassle of Boston.
I find the whole mall thing just too much on too many levels, the staff is not thrilled to be there themselves and less so for you to be there, their pricing is over the top for what you get (did I mention that Gloucester and Salem use real butter?), plus the whole parking and mall aggravation to top off a lukewarm movie experience, I’d rather go elsewhere.
